Pypilot motor controller 12-24V 30A by NaviTop, with enclosure and clutch output

C30

This motor controller with enclosure is sized to supply 30A continuously in 12 or 24V. The clutch output can supply 4A (max).

30A is the motor current to be considered at maximum torque allowing the rudder to move freely. This is not the current with the motor locked because this controller allows the current to be electronically limited when the rudder is locked.

To reduce the clutch coil power consumption by a ratio of about 6, this Pypilot conntroller energizes the coil at full power for about 250 ms, then the controller outputs pulse width modulated (PWM) pulses to keep the clutch engaged while reducing power consumption.

The PCB is marinized with tropicalizing acrylic varnish. It comes with a flashed processor, tested functions, Wago 64A lever terminals for the power supply and motor, Wago 32A lever terminals for the clutch, and 1.5 mm² push-in terminals for the Raspberry Pi UART, the rudder feedback sensor, and the 5V DC output to the Raspberry Pi Zero.

The enclosure is designed to easily secure electrical wires with nylon ties

Case size : 146 x 132 x 50 mm
