The buttons on this 433 MHz remote control can be programmed to control all the functions of the autopilot.

Multiple 433 MHz remote controls can be used with computers equipped with an RF receiver and ATmega328 (Arduino) decoder.

This 6V model is less powerful than the 12V version, but it has the advantage of being watertight. I have been using it for several years without any problems on a 9m boat.

You can combine two waterproof 4-button remote controls to create an 8-button waterproof remote control (see the protection  below for 2 RF remotes with 4 buttons).

You can 3D print protections to allow you to operate the buttons safely, without having to look at them, thus preventing any accidental activation. Made from PETG or ASA with a 15% infill density, this cover also ensures good buoyancy for the remote control.
